Veteran pop/punk superstars Good Charlotte have finally delivered their new album Cardiology. And it's full of the big hooks and catchy choruses that's made them one of the biggest pop/punk bands on the planet.
And the tattooed rock twins behind Good Charlotte - Joel and Benji Madden - wouldn't have it any other way.
"We are who we are," Benji told Triple M's Ugly Phil when the twins were on the show to promote their new album. "One of the reasons why [we've] stuck around is that whatever you think about our music there's no denying that we keep it real."
Indeed, Cardiology was an album they did twice because they weren't happy with the first version. It's their fifth studio album and after 15 years together it encapsulates everything good about Good Charlotte.
"We're not stuck in a box," says Benji. "We have the pop/punk songs and we also have straight singalong anthems."
And here's some news to get you Good Charlotte fans even more excited. They are planning a tour of Australia!
"The actual tour we're putting together is going to be early next year," says Benji. "And we're gonna come back and do it right and hit every city."
Good Charlotte's Cardiology is out now.
