In The Studio With Them Crooked Vultures Post by: Eddie Ruckus - Rockin' Blogger 20 August, 2009 - 7:51 AM
No more hoaxes, no more intrigue – this is the real deal, the sight and sound of the world’s newest genuine supergroup, Them Crooked Vultures, at work and play in the studio.
Overnight, the super trio featuring Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and Led Zep’s John Paul Jones released the above clip showing them working on their debut album in Los Angeles.
The sound you hear is of the track called “Nobody Loves Me And Neither Do I”, which will probably be the band’s debut single.
Following their debut live performance in Chicago two weeks back, the trio this week flies to Europe for two more tiny club shows – one in Amsterdam tonight and then another in London on Monday night.
Maybe someone should point out to them that we’ve got lots of tiny clubs in Australia too, and I’m sure my bosses here at the Ms would be more than pleased to chuck on a barbie for the boys in return for a sneak peak at a few tracks.
As far as anyone knows right now, the trio’s debut album will be called Never Deserved the Future and is due out on October 23, but there’s nothing confirmed at this stage.
Now that this is getting more real, what are your thoughts on Them Crooked Vultures?

Sounds great. Always a big fan of hard rock. Not enough of it these days.
Each artist on their own are great but putting them together by the clip sound could be a master stroke.
More of Them Crooked Vultures for me please. When's the album release? Keep it comin!
