New Guns N' Roses Album Post by: Dave-O 7 November, 2010 - 4:13 PM

GN'R guitarist DJ Ashba has revealed that Guns N' Roses are ready to do a follow-up album to Chinese Democracy.

We secured video from YouTube of DJ Ashba speaking on the red carpet at the premiere of Activision's new game Call Of Duty: Black Ops, where he revealed that Axl and the band are working on a bunch of new songs.

"We've been throwing around a bunch of ideas and it should be good, man. We got a lot of good stuff on the plate coming out. It won't take as long, I promise," he laughed referring to the fifteen years it took for Chinese Democracy to come out.

He said he's heard the new stuff that Axl has been working on and it's sounding really good.

"I'm excited to get this next one rolling," he said. "Axl has a lot of good s**t up his sleeve, so I'm really excited about it."

Alongside having the top gig in Guns N' Roses, DJ Ashba also plays in Sixx: A.M. with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx.

Guns N' Roses are currently touring the world and will be landing in Townsville on December 1 to begin their Australian tour.

They said that the third album as part of the Chinese Democracy trilogy will come out some time in 2012. You would have thought that they'd release a second album by now, allowing for some time to write the third one.
