There have been a lot of rumours floating around on Powderfinger reforming to raise money for the Queensland floods.

Well, we can confirm that they won't be reforming and instead will put out a previously unreleased song where all the profits will go to The Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.

The song was recorded last August and has never been released. So, in other words we'll be hearing something new from Powderfinger shortly.

About the rumours of a Powderfinger reunion JC (pictured far right) told Triple M Brisbane's The Cage this morning, "I've been getting texts and things asking what's going on but unfortunately… we're really flattered but it's not going to happen."
