Triple M's Becko and Johnno tell us why this year's Splendour In The Grass was one of the most amazing weekends of their lives.

"Coldplay were hands-down the best act at SITG11," said Johnno. "There was so much anticipation for them, the Amphitheatre was heaving before they even took to the stage. The band hit the stage and ripped through hit after hit!".

The British rock legends played a 60-minute set packed with wall-to-wall hits including rousing versions of "Yellow", "In My Place", "Politik", "Fix You", "The Scientist", "Clocks" and "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall".

"If Coldplay stayed onstage for another 2hrs, no-one would've complained. They were simply unbelievable," he said.

Meanwhile, Becko said Bluejuice and The Living End were his standouts across the three-day event staged in the picturesque town of Woodford, QLD.

"Bluejuice with their porn-infused pop-rock were a highlight. They are fun! Someone described them as Tron on 'roids. That's about right!," he exclaimed.

"On Saturday the crown went to 'Triple M's The Living End!' They owned the amphitheatre with a killer set of old and new. They picked out the highlight songs from the new album like "The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating" and "Song For The Lonely".
