Rick Brewster's Angels Australian Tour Dates With Dave Gleeson On Vocals Post by: Dave-O 31 May, 2011 - 1:50 PM

Following Dave Gleeson's rip-roaring gig with The Brewster Brothers earlier in the month, they have announced more shows together.
Under the band name Rick Brewster’s Angels, The Screaming Jets frontman will join John and Rick Brewster and Chris Bailey from The Angels for two shows in Sydney and Adelaide.
The Angels frontman Doc Neeson is currently on the road doing solo gigs, so John and Rick Brewster are using the opportunity to tour with Dave. Alongside Angels classics like "Take A Long Line" and "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?", they'll be playing new songs they've done together in the studio.
"Recording new material at last with Dave Gleeson, what a great rock singer and what a blast! Definitely brings freshness to both the classics and the new tracks," said John Brewster.
While Dave Gleeson added he can't believe how good the new songs are sounding. "As rock would have it, the guys asked me to get up and do a few Angels tunes with em, and it went nuts," he exclaimed. "It just seems like a great fit, like it was meant to be that way. I can't believe how great the new tracks sound."
Alongside the dates below we've been told by their management that more shows are to be added. They're also doing a benefit concert in Japan in September with Jimmy Barnes!

I will definitely fly over for the gig to listen to some awesome musicians, being the Brewster brothers and Chris Bailey plus an excellent singer and performer singing great Angels songs. It will be great to listen to live Angels music being sung in tune.
