VIDEO: Pink Floyd Reunite At Roger Waters The Wall Show In London Post by: Dave-O 13 May, 2011 - 11:03 AM
Just thought we'd let you know that… Pink Floyd reunited at the Roger Waters Wall concert at London's O2 Arena last night!
As predicted by ex-Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt during an interview with Triple M's Becko last week, Dave Gilmour joined his old warring parter Roger Waters on stage to lend his guitar genius to the Pink Floyd classic "Comfortably Numb".
As you can see in YouTube video shot by a fan in the crowd, the audience goes off as Dave peels off a spectacular solo on top of the Wall while Roger Waters stands below hammering away at the massive structure before it bursts into a magnificent kaleidoscope of colour.
Dave put something up on his website about the special performance hours before the show warning fans not to get too excited about the reunion. "I should also remind you that tonight is most definitely a one-off. I’m sorry to disappoint those of you with fingers crossed and tickets for later shows."
Fellow Pink Floyd member Nick Mason was also there joining the pair on stage for the encore playing tambourine on the track "Outside The Wall".
As reported earlier in the week, Roger Waters will bring his massive state-of-the-art concert The Wall to Australia this December. Fingers and toes crossed it will include Dave and Nick in some way, shape or form!
