For anyone who went to school with someone that became more successful than them then you'll get a kick out of this new flick.
Killing Bono is a new movie based on two brothers who form a band in Dublin, Ireland around the same time as U2.
"Two brothers attempt to become global rock stars but can only look on as old school friends U2 become the biggest band in the world." says the blurb on U2's official website.
And judging by the trailer we secured from YouTube it looks pretty funny.
The movie is based on a musical comedy written by Neil McCormick who is an old school mate of the band.
"It’s the story of my life as a failed rock star,' says Neil. "All I did was royally screw things up for myself, while my school friends in U2 went on to achieve everything I ever wanted."
The cast includes Martin McCann (as Bono), Ben Barnes (as Neil), and the late Pete Postlethwaite.
While U2 are not actually involved in the production a number of people working on the film are old mates of the band including producer Ian Flooks who was U2's agent from 1980-1997.
The movie comes out April 1 this year in UK with Aussie dates to follow.
