The mighty Hoodoo Gurus are back with a new album and to celebrate they're gonna do what they do best: hit the road and give you a live show to remember!

Purity Of Essence is their ninth album and features the first single, ‘Crackin’ Up’, a song so quintessentially ‘Gurus’ that it confirms their status as Oz rock royalty.

This tour will see the band playing a mix of new songs and old classics (check out the old-school vids above), which makes for a cracking show!

And what's more, the Hoodoo Gurus are bringing new all-star band The Break along for the ride as support. The Break features Midnight Oil’s Rob Hirst, Martin Rotsey and Jim Moginie, alongside The Violent Femmes' Brian Ritchie.

Also on the bill are Sydney’s powerhouse duo, The Fumes and Melbourne rockers The Gun Street Girls.

I hope they get out to western Sydney again in this time around.

I'd like them to play Death in the Afternoon... I've never hear it live and I'd love to.
