These tickets are on sale now but numbers are strictly limited so get in fast!

Powderfinger have decided to split, but not after one last gigantic tour! Hurrah!

Sunsets, The Farewell Tour will hit the road in September and October this year.

"With the completion of our last album, Golden Rule, we feel that we have said all that we want to say as a musical group," said Bernard Fanning.

"It is our most complete and satisfying album and can't think of a better way to farewell our fans... with, hopefully, our best tour to date".

Tickets go on sale on Friday April 30 at 9am and supports for the show will be Jet and The Vines.

I am SO angry and disappointed!!!! How is it that true music fans bust their butt and do everything in their power to buy tickets to farewell their favourite band, but nooo, can't get through (to all 3 opportunities - fan club presale, ticketmaster presale and normal sale), but SELFISH SCHMUCKS manage to get them and put them directly on ebay just to make a quick buck!!!!! This should be banned!!!! It is no better than downloading free music. Absolutely unnacceptable.

I totally agree with you Suzie! I spent so long trying to get tickets for the Gold Coast concert and missed out! It was so frustrating!

Powderfinger are great live and I really wanted to see the last tour live! It sucks that if I give in to these greedy people and buy an overpriced ticket (with money that I bust my ass to make) it's not the artists who profit but these scalpers!

Like you said it is unacceptable and should be stopped! These scalpers should get real jobs and let the genuine fans buy the tickets!

I saw them in Ballarat on Saturday night and it was the greatest night ever it was so unreal they should keep playing.
Heard the crowd in Bendigo didn't get into it but f***ing Ballarat did and the mud and slush didn't worry them at all.
