Ben Stiller Reveals His Battle With Prostate Cancer
He was REALLY lucky!
Ben Stiller has revealed that he was diagnosed with "immediately aggressive" prostate cancer.
The now 50-year-old was on The Howard Stern Show and opened up about his diagnosis saying that it all happened two years ago, but he kept it quiet and he instantly had surgery to treat it.
He's hoping his story will encourage others, especially younger men, to get themselves checked.
"It came out of the blue for me… I had no idea".
Stiller said the news had a huge impact on him and he found it hard to work on projects such as Zoolander 2. He admits he was "creating the whole movie in my head with the funeral".
It was then that he turned to his friends for support, including his Meet The Parents co-star Robert De Niro who has also suffered from prostate cancer.
