Luke Ball Wants To Be A Magpie Posted by Luke Darcy 6 October, 2009 - 11:51 AM

Luke Ball

After spending a lot of time playing in the VFL during 2009, former Saints captain Luke Ball has informed St.Kilda coach Ross Lyon that he wants to be traded with a preference to go to Collingwood.

Ball had more than 20 posessions in the losing Grand Final for the Saints but has decided that he would like to move on for the hope of getting more game time.

Should Luke Ball stay loyal to St.Kilda or should he go?

What do you expect? The saints aren't giving him a fair crack , so of course he wants to go somehere else. he's only 25 and has plenty of football ahead of him.

All depends on whether he wants to play more finals football or not? I reckon the Saints have got plenty in the tank for season 2010. Ball could be a big part of it, if he leaves he'll never know.

I think it would be a shame for him to go. If he is to be traded why Collingwood? He deserves somewhere better than that.

Luke Ball would be great for the Pies, he is a great leader and team player, why would we not want him at the pies?
