Nui has reported that Meatloaf has some excuses for his performance!

"There has been some new information come through that the foldback wasn't working and the band wasn't playing live, you can see at one point during the performance he's ripped out the earpiece," said Nui.

Triple M's Nui Te Koha joined the Hot Breakfast to talk about the AFL Grand Final performance that has everyone talking, Meatloaf.

In the clip above you can hear what everyone is talking about; check it out and see if you can see the bass player trying to adjust his earpiece.

Meatloaf was reportedly paid $600,000 for the performance which was, according to Mick,"too much loaf, not enough meat."

"My Karaoke version is better than that!" joked Mick Molloy!
