You're right! That's not a photo we took of Lee last week. It's not even one we took last year. Let's face it, you dont get to be the host of show called Rock Of Ages unless you have a bit of broadcast history behind of you.
Lee Simon is often asked, "Hey, didn't you used to be Lee Simon?", he takes it as a compliment. He is a radio and music legend in this town. From 3XY he moved to the album track orientated EON FM, the first commercial FM station in Melbourne. Lee did the afternoon shift on EON for many years, along the way that station became this very radio station and Lee was in charge as the Program Director for most of the '80s and '90s.
Lee is also remembered for hosting the late night music TV show called 'Nightmoves'. We'll leave all the story telling for the show. Listen in every weekday from 1pm.
