Iris

IrisIRiS are a 4 piece pop-rock outfit hailing from Melbourne's inner South East. They formed in 2005 and played their first gig on national television on 'The Big Night In', and have won a few indie music awards around town and hope to really get it going on in 2008.

Suicide Town: This track is about holding on what you believe in, regardless of what negativity you might get from others about it. 'Suicide Town' is the personification of the place where those dreams you let slip away end up. Its suicide because the only person that can let them fade is you.

Velveteen Sky

Velveteen SkyIf you're looking for a band with enough energy, blistering riffs & catchy melodies to melt your face and blow up your brain, you have found it! After only forming 4 months ago the band has already scored slots supporting bands like Airbourne & The Screaming Jets. Velveteen Sky has Arrived. ROCK!

Revolution:  This song may not be our best (we haven't been able to record much yet) but it has a message that will relate to hundreds of people, 'be yourself & it will be alright'. There is no point dwelling on the opinions and views of others, life is complicated enough these days.
