Abbey Holmes chats to the Rush Hour about her first appearence in the EJ Whitten Legends Game.
The All-Stars have a secret weapon in the EJ Whittens Legend Game in the form of goal kicking dynamo Abbey Holmes.
Abbey made AFL history this year by becoming the first woman to kick 100 goals in a season.
Holmes, playing in the Northern Territory women’s league, bagged 105 goals in just 15 games in only her second season as a footballer.
Abbey, who is also a passionate netballer and body sculpter, says she is looking forward to playing in front of such a big crowd.
"I'm very, very nervous but obviously I'm just going to embrace it and take it in my stride," Abbey told Wayne Carey and Mark Howard.
"It's such an honour to be apart of the game in support of the EJ Whitten Foundation.. so extremely excited to be apart of it and can't wait to get out there tonight" she said.
Triple M Footy will simulcast the match with Channel 9, starting at 8:30pm.
