Our very own Brigitte Duclos, is a resident of the state political hotbed - Albert Park. When sitting ALP member John Thwaites called it a day, recently, pundits everywhere were screaming 'By-Election' and potential names were being bandied about like a school roll call.
Triple M's Deadset Legend Andrew Gaze was touted as a possible replacement for JB lookalike Thwaitsey, but subsequently denied his involvement during an interview with The Cage.
The very next day Brigi received a call from the press saying her name was also being bandied about, however a likely party was not attached to the rumour.
Although Brigi's favourite colour is blue, state opposition leader Ted Baillieu declared that the Liberal Party would not contest the seat - which covers suburbs Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, St Kilda and Elwood - as it has been held by Labor since 1950.
But a change is often as good as a holiday, so we think Brigi should give it a go as an independent.

We have no idea when the by-election is going to be held, so if anyone can give us a date, we'll see if we can actually get our whits together in time to get a proper campaign happening. Oh, and it costs $350 to register, has anyone got some spare change? (if we get 4% of the vote, we can pay you back...honest...)

A vote for Brigitte is a vote for lower taxes on alcohol, more relaxed drinking laws and better treatment of those who've consumed maybe a bit too much alcohol and just need to lie down for a bit.
