JB vs Caro On Nine's Footy Classified Post by: Triple M Footy 23 June, 2009 - 10:29 AM
It had been brewing for some time. Caroline Wilson said that our JB had a conflict interest by wearing two hats, one as footy caller on Triple M and the other, being the president of the North Melbourne footy club. The interview covered a lot of ground, from coaching decisions, to the Kangaroos culture. Hear JB's response when Caro, in school teacher style, gives him a 'pass mark'.Listen to interview as it went to air on TV's Nine Footy Classified and Triple M.
Who do you think won the argument? Have your say now!

I understand what Caroline is getting at but on this occasion I think James made more sense and answered all the questions that had been raised. maybe Caroline has got a grudge against the Kangaroos.

JB handled this alright, so he should, he's a smart guy who is a polished media performer. There is still some big questions to be asked, like did he make the right decision in staying at Arden Street. I just hope down the track that he regrets not taking up the Gold Coast option.

Greg F Unless you are a North supporter and pay for a membership (please feel free to quote your No.) you do not have the right to an opinion on my Club. We made the decision to stay so just let us be and all mind your own business. JB put that Richmond tragic in her place - just too smart for that Harpy! Do we care whether she gave a "pass" mark or not - don't think so. Hope we get Buckley, but whatever, we'll keep on keeping on.

JB did a good job of smacking Caro back. It was a well deserved crack and done well.

Caro did ask the hard questions and JB answer with the professionalism he has for years. JB calls the football on a friday night and saturday arvo and team with BT no other station comes close to the quality they produce. Why can't he do both?

james won the argument and as for caro,"what sour, negative and self centred person". She has no place in the football media if all she is going to do is make allegations and statements based on here say and not have the facts. It takes a big person to admit they are wrong and to appologise, so we can now see how "small" she is. Its people like her that turn people off footy and look for another sport to follow!

Caroline, dont you have better things to worry about, like making your kids' school lunches and taking care of yourself? James handled you like a professional media commentator and I think he really stood up as a President. In today's society, there seems to be quite a few people who struggle to juggle commitments such as James', and James' seems to be juggling media commitments and being a President very well. This shows that Caroline may not be cut out to be a reporter as she claims to be. Good on you James, keep up the good work.

I was only remarking with a mate the other week at how professional JB is when he calls games with North Melbourne playing; as soon as the ball is bounced he has no allegiance but to the footy listeners.

I cant really see any point to Caroline Wilson reporting on football anyomre, all everyone in footy ever seems to do is disagree with her articles. -
