UPDATE: Carlton captain Chris Judd has been referred directly to the AFL Tribunal Tuesday night for his 'chicken wing' tackle against the North Melbourne's Leigh Adams, he cannot accept an early plea.

Jack Ziebell, who was offered a three match ban for rough conduct on Aaron Joseph, will be at the tribunal to contest his ban and Brisbane Lion Daniel Merrett will challenge a two-match ban.

EARLIER: Carlton superstar Chris Judd has been reported for misconduct after he appeared to “chicken wing” Kangaroo’s Leigh “Patch” Adams on Friday night.

In the second-quarter incident, Patch was already lying face down on the ground as part of a tackle placed by Carlton’s Andrew Carrazzo. Judd then came in and grabbed Adams’ right arm before pulling it up and back, leaving the Roo writhing in agony.

Patch subsequently left the ground with what appeared to be a dislocated shoulder.

He did come back onto the field later in the game.

This incident sparked a lot of talk on Triple M Footy and Twitter regarding the unbelievable action by the Carlton captain, who went on to play like a man possessed in his team’s 53-point loss.

Judd was reported by boundary umpire Mark Foster for the incident.

During our post-game Adams exclusively told Triple M Footy that he was “sure whatever he (Judd) did he didn't mean it. I hope he gets off”.  Patch also mentioned that Judd did go up to him at the end of the game.

On “The Saturday Rub”, Damian Barrett told us that Judd was shattered by last night’s incident.
