UPDATE:

Magpie Sharrod Wellingham has been offered a three-week ban for his bump on Carlton's Kade Simpson, who will miss the next four games with a broken jaw as a result.

Wellingham was charged with a level five rough conduct offence for his hit but his five-match sanction for the offence can be reduced to three matches with an early plea due to his existing clean record.

Other suspensions include; three games offered to Richmond's Matt White for making forceful, front-on contact on Melbourne's James Frawley and two-game bans offered to West Coast's Luke Shuey, Geelong's Jimmy Bartel and Essendon's Heath Hocking.

EARLIER:

Sharrod Wellingham is waiting on the Match Review Panel findings for his high hit on Carlton's Kade Simpson which left him with a broken jaw on Friday night.

"On Sunday Sharrod Wellingham fronted up everywhere, he'd had a shocker, he'd cleaned up Kade Simpson and broken his jaw," Luke Darcy said on Triple M Melbourne's Hot Breakfast Monday morning.

"You know he's going to be suspended somewhere between three, four and five weeks."

"Rather than hide, that's something that the Collingwood players do very well Ed, they get out and they put their hand up."
