One of West Coast's most important players, Beau Waters, looks to have sustained a leg injury that could rule him out for the rest of the season.

Waters was carried off in the second quarter with a lower leg injury and Triple M Footy commentators Wayne Carey and Scott Cummings said it didn't look good for him.

He was soon subbed out of the game and went straight down into the rooms, with some early reports suggesting it is an Achillies injury

The defender has been one of the Eagles' best players this year, and is expected to be a good chance to be named as an All Australian this year.

The Eagles smashed North to qualify for a semi-final berth next week against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Adelaide's Daniel Talia is gone for the year after breaking his arm, Hawk Brendan Whitecross will undergo a knee reconstruction and Sydney's Ben McGlynn looks set to miss the rest of the year after injuring a hamstring.
