Australian cricket legend Merv Hughes dropped in on Triple M’s Rush Hour to promote his new book ‘Merv Hughes’ Best Sporting Insults’ and JB took the opportunity to re-visit some of the best sledges he received from the colourful Victorian.
Swervin’ Mervyn and JB (South Australia and Western Australia) were big state cricket rivals in the 80s and 90s and, as Jim Bob explains, that resulted in some colourful exchanges between the two in the heat of battle.
JB recalled one such discourse that took place at the MCG one summer’s day.
