Adam Hamilton
Adam
Hamilton is one of Australia's most respected racing writers having
worked at the Herald Sun for 19 years and appeared on Sky Channel, the
Seven Network and other racing based radio and television shows. His
contemporary style and flair sets him apart from colleagues and it is
these traits that have helped Adam win numerous media awards in
Australia and New Zealand.Adam's intuitive knowledge of the punt has
attracted a cult following of readers in the Herald Sun through betting
columns like Inside Trading and Punters Paradise. This street smartness
and his slick fashion sense make him one of the glamour boys of the
racing media. dam is also widely acknowledged as Australia's leading
harness racing writers having taken out the national harness media
award on no less than five occasions.
Hamish McLachlan
Hamish McLachlan comes from a strong sporting background with management and broadcast experience on a national and international level with sports including AFL, Olympics, Tennis and Cricket. During his time as a manager of elite athletes, he has also helped grow and develop successful sporting careers. Hamish added a fresh TV entry to his CV this year as host of Channel Seven's Sunday morning panel show, AFL Game Day. His passion for horse racing is second to none and a lifetime either competing in or commentating International Polo has fine tuned his thoroughbred credentials in the Sport of Kings.
Dr Turf
Dr Turf (John Rothfield) has been part of the Melbourne media for over 25 years, beginning in the early 80's with the cult radio classic Punter to Punter which helped spawn the burgeoning Melbourne comedy scene. He has continued his radio career and his love affair with horse racing and has also presented horse racing on both the 7 & 10 networks in addition to writing about it in numerous magazine articles and newspaper columns. He was also an integral part of the highly popular ABC Sports show 'The Fat', is currently co-hosting TVN's popular coverage of night racing at Moonee Valley on Foxtel and is writing a column for the Age during this years spring racing carnival.
Jason Kimberley is a self-taught photographer and writer with a passion for the environment, adventure and sports. After years of working in management with Country Road and the Just Jeans Group, Jason's sense of adventure has taken him trekking in Denali, kayaking in Alaska, surviving the harsh conditions of Antarctica and climbing South America's highest peak Mt. Aconcagua.No one understands the thrill and excitement of horseracing more then Jason. In 2002 he was part-owner of the 2002 VRC Oaks winner Bulla Borghese. But there's one accolade our raconteur of the racecourse is immensely proud - making the top 10 worst dressed list in 2007.
Mark Guest
Melbourne-born and based, Mark is one of our Victorian thoroughbred form experts. He is also a regular on 'Inside Running' on Sky Racing Channel. During Triple M's coverage Mark will be the man on the course interviewing jockeys, trainers and owners.
Simon Marshall
Simon
Marshall was Australia's premier weight-for-age jockey in the early to
mid-90s, winning 15 Group 1 races. In 1997 Simon was forced into early
retirement due to weight and size problems. Always a star performer in
front of television cameras and microphones, Simon quickly and easily
made the transition into the media. Making regular appearances on radio
sports shows in Melbourne and Sydney, TVN racing broadcasts and was
part of Channel 7s Olympic Games and Spring Racing Carnival coverage.
