Do We Want Tiger Back? Post by: Strak 7 April, 2010 - 11:20 AM

The golfing sideshow is about to unfold at Augusta where Tiger Woods will make his comeback to golf after a troubled six months away from the game.
Feelings inside and outside the ropes will be strange as the number one golfer in the world tries to get his game back on course following a string of sordid affairs.
Even non sport fans will watch with interest to see if his game will be affected.
The big question for us is, should we pay the 4 million dollars money to get him back to Australia later this year. The story is that both Melbourne and Sydney tournament organisers will bid to get him down under.
Triple M listeners were divided on the subject. For a lot of people it's about how he plays golf, not what he does in his personal life. Understandably, not everyone agrees with that.
His last visit was a roaring success. More people interested in golf, international visitors and it poured money into the economy.
Should we get Tiger back to Australia?

Who cares about the other stuff. I hate the fact that any story now is some kind of NW magazine fodder. I liked it better when we didn't know what they got up to away from the game.

What a disgrace. He told his wife that he would stay away from the game until he got his life sorted out. A quick stint in some kind of sex rehab clinic and then he's back at it. These sportsmen who spend so much time away from home will always have to battle temptation. Good luck!

Pay him whatever it takes to get him here and pay the 2nd best golfer whatever it takes to make it a contest.

I think we should pay to have tiger back. Why not, the guy is the greatest golfer in the world & we enjoyed the money he brought to Australia last year. What Tiger does off the course is his business. Good, bad or indifferent, I say "Bring back Tiger!"

Cant wait to see the great man back on the Course, the best thing that has ever happened to Golf & sport in general, what makes me sick is the continued belittling jokes every second on your show, give it a break guy's.....as if we are all perfect....it's becoming tiresome listening to your station, in fact it's a turn off, like now!!!
