Triple M's Matty Johns has revealed details of a meeting between Quade Cooper, his manager Khoder Nasser and former Wallabies coach Eddie Jones and what this means for Quade's whereabouts in 2013.

Eddie Jones is reported to have told Quade Cooper to switch to rugby league as "that's your game" according to Johns who understands Quade's team was seeking "guidance" from Jones.

Quade Cooper has yet to put pen to paper to play for the Wallabies team despite telling Fox Sports earlier in the year he has signed with the Queensland Reds for a further three years.

Matty Johns believes Quade Cooper would be an "outstanding rugby league player" as rumours circulate about Cooper's whereabouts for 2013.

"He actually said to him I would call Nick Politis straight away, I would go to the Roosters and I would team up with Sonny Bill Williams'," Matty said of Eddie's advice to Quade Cooper.

"Now that would be some star power," added Matty Johns who said the switch of Sonny Bill and Cooper would be a "kick in the guts for the 15-a-side game."

Matty said if he was head of the ARLC and he heard this he'd "get straight on the phone to Khoder Nasser...and make this happen."
