Here Is The Best Way To Save iPhone Battery (Because We’ve All Been Doing It Wrong)
Closing apps doesn't help you save battery on your iPhone apparently.
When it's the end of the day and your iPhone battery is slowly diminishing, it’s important to hold onto every last percentage....
We've all been there.
For most people the answer is to double tap the home button and start closing apps.
Well, the geeks/experts say that the 'swiping up' tactic doesn't actually save any battery, because the act of closing then opening these apps up again ultimately drains MORE energy.
The solution: Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
Here you see a list of apps that are running in the background and draining battery.
You can then switch the setting off entirely to save the most power, or switch off individual apps.
