Liam Gallagher Takes The Piss Out Of Brother Noel For Having A Scissors Player in His Band

Oasis star Liam Gallagher has taken the piss out of his brother Noel for employing a scissors player in his band High Flying Birds.

During a TV appearance, Noel played with High Flying Birds and had a woman playing the scissors as part of the band.

Brother Liam weighed in on BBC Radio, saying that the scissors player was playing “very badly” and then taking the piss out of the whole concept.

“I’m gonna have someone sharpening a pencil at my gig. It’s gonna proper blow people’s minds,” Liam said. “Or peel a banana or something live on air, that’ll be good… Maybe get a sticker book out and like, put stickers in it. 

“I reckon with a load of reverb on it, and with the right crowd if you give them enough booze and that, I think it’ll go down well.”

Liam said his brother is too old to be indulging himself that way.

“It’s alright if you’re twenty and you’re off your head on mushrooms, but the guy’s fifty now, you know what I mean?” Liam said. 

“If he’s really trying to convince people that playing scissors is the right way to go about business, he needs to have a big, long, lie down man.”
