Michael Barlow Is Taking The Piss In The WAFL
You won't believe these numbers
Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow has stamped his name back in contention for a spot in Freo's senior line-up with a monstrous performance for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.
In torrential conditions against East Perth - West Coast's reserves - Barlow played like it was dry, with 24 disposals and two goals halfway through the second quarter.
For a large chunk of the game Barlow had more goals than East Perth.
His final stats? 44 disposals, 13 tackles, seven inside 50s and three goals.
His three goals was game-changing, as Peel won 5.9 (39) to East Perth's 3.7 (25).
That's right - Barlow kicked three of the game's eight goals from the midfield.
It follows on from 39 disposals and 12 marks against South Fremantle the previous week.
He'd be a handy inclusion for Freo with that sort of form.
