Ben Cousins been charged with possession of cannabis and a smoking implement in his car after being pulled over by police.

Ben Cousins’ drug possession case, stemming from a police stripsearch at Esperance last week, will not be heard of in court again for months.
The controversial former AFL star faced the Perth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, where he was not required to enter a plea. Cousins remained silent throughout proceedings.
It's alleged Cousins had 4.46 grams of methylamphetamine up his bum when he arrived at Esperance Airport last Tuesday night, which led to him being charged with drug possession.
Police have also said he had a large amount of cash on him.
Cousins’ bail conditions were altered on Monday and he now does not need to stay at the Teen Challenge drug rehabilitation centre in Esperance, where he was en route to when searched.
He has now been ordered to reside at a Perth home, where it’s believed his partner and child live.
Cousins’ lawyer is confident he will not face a jail term if found guilty, with the more likely result being a fine and / or a community-based order.
The matter has been adjourned until June 27 for a committal mention in Perth District Court.
The drug charge created a media storm last week when it broke, and led to ugly scenes between Cousins and a Channel 7 news crew at Perth Airport.
