British tabloid The Daily Star is reporting that Shane Warne has proposed to girlfriend Liz Hurley on holiday in Marbella, Spain.

They claim he went down on one knee during a private cruise with guests including James Packer.

Triple M's Eddie McGuire spoke to Warney last night via text message, shortly before he boarded a plane home to Melbourne.

This morning Eddie said "he didn't make any mention of engagements or stuff, but having said that he has been on James' [Packer's] boat, so we'll find out. There might be a bit of intrigue going off."
