Put simply, this is one of the funniest things we've seen in a while. Yep, it's up there with the waving bear.

Watch as a rogue compactor machine goes out of control on a building site, and what the poor blokes resort to in order to stop it.

First they try a big plank of wood... then a bucket of water... then, the big black tarp. All to little avail.

Sadly, for the labourers, there were more than just the spectators from the building site watching... yep, the guys in the hotel adjoining the site enjoyed the show and filmed it for our pleasure.

Kudos to a few people here... firstly, the labourer that finally stopped the machine. And, to the guy who had the nous to film this and share with the world. Golden!
