Roy & HG have thrown a spanner in the works of the 'Save Barry' Campaign by launching an hilarious tirade of abuse towards the name Barry.

Apparently, there's a current shortage of Barrys - and campaigners are trying to raise awareness for the plight of this dwindling Aussie name.

An event to rally all of Australia's Barry has been planned, but it seems that Roy & HG aren't together too keen to get on-board.

Speaking about the attempt to reestablish Barry as a meaningful name in the community, HG says: "it's a sh*t name, and the less Barrys there are around the joint, the happier I'll be".

Roy retorted by pledging his political support to any party who would "ban Barry as a name, we're for it."

Should we really give Barry the boot?

  Hey Roy and HG, pull your heads in...Barry's are great people. My husband is a Barry and he is wonderful. Not many Roys around these days, maybe this name should be given the boot !!

  Bad mistake guys? If I have been out on the Pee One Ess Ess I will not be able to say "I 've had a Barry Crocker".Struth guys you better have a Bex and a lie down .
