AC/DC’s New Greatest Hits Posted by Eddie Ruckus 27 January, 2010 - 7:10 AM

It’s obvious that Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man 2 starring Robert Downey, is a wee bit of an Accadacca fan. The new movie, due out at the end of April, features only AC/DC songs on its soundtrack.

Which means the album version of the soundtrack, due for release April 19, will feature only AC/DC – 15 classic tracks, to be exact.

AC/DC: Iron Man 2 will be the closest anyone has ever got to anything resembling an Accadacca greatest hits set [even though you’d need another couple of discs full of hits to make it a true greatest hits set].

The album and movie will feature tracks spanning from 1976 through to 2008’s Black Ice.

To celebrate the collaboration, AC/DC have released a new video for the utter classic Back In Black track, “Shoot To Thrill”.

The video features bits from the movie, cut in with awesome new live footage shot at shows in Argentina last month.

AC/DC: Iron Man 2:

1. Shoot to Thrill
2. Rock ’N’ Roll Damnation
3. Guns for Hire
4. Cold Hearted Man
5. Back in Black
6. Thunderstruck
7. If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)
8. Evil Walks
9. T.N.T.
10. Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be
11. Have a Drink on Me
12. The Razor’s Edge
13. Let There Be Rock
14. War Machine
15. Highway to Hell

So, what do you think of the track-list and the clip?

Put me on air...I need some tickets! Great clip and I can't wait to see the new film. Jon Favreau has to be a good bloke to put 15 AC/DC songs on a film score!

'Cold Hearted Man' is an average AC/DC song. I'd have 'Gimme a Bullet' or something from the Blow Up Your Video album.

Great film clip. The best band on the planet by far.

Hopefully Iron Man 2 turns out better than Stephen King's only directorial outing which also featured an entire AC/DC soundtrack (and an AC/DC road van to boot).

That's the concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at River Plate Stadium! Nothing like the Argentine crowd, they go absolutely nuts with the music!
