It has to be Eskimo Joe's Foreign Land.
These guys are maturing into one of Australia's best ever bands, even better than Silverchair I reckon.

Jet's K.I.A is the best Aussie song of 2009 so far. That or Little Birdy's Brother.

Now that I've heard She's a Genius by Jet I would have to say it's the best song this year.

JET- She's a Genius, by far my favorite so far this year.
It has that fun ROCK AND ROLL attitude that the boys started with, but with a mature songwriting.

I am very disappointed that Ladyhawke made the list. I hate her music so much.

I saw The Lazys in Newcastle and they were awesome, like Australia was in the late 70s with heaps of hard rock, but their set also had a modern influence as well. Great live band.
Have they got an album?
Also it's good to see some hip hop there too!

With the exception of 4 songs in the list, this is absolutely terrible. Lol at people who actually enjoy new Eskimo joe and to be considered one of Australias best bands is laughable. I thought everyone knew Jet Was awful.
