Eskimo Joe Aussie Tour Posted by Music 23 April, 2009 - 7:45 AM

Eskimo Joe

Eskimo Joe have announced the dates for their only Aussie tour of 2009.

Just back from Europe and with their new album Inshalla still a month away from release, Eskimo Joe have revealed plans to do a quick lap of this great land of ours, starting in Wollongong on July 29 and wrapping up in Launceston on September 3.

Tickets for the tour go on sale May 4. Demand is sure to be intense as the band’s last Aussie tour was a complete sell-out.

Inshalla will be released on May 29. Its first single, “Foreign Land”, instantly became the most added song at radio stations across the country the moment it became available.

Inshalla Australian Tour Dates:

July 29 – Wollongong University, Wollongong NSW

July 30 – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney

July 31 – Newcastle Panthers NSW

August 1 – ANU, Canberra ACT

August 7 – The Palace, Melbourne VIC

August 13 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide SA

August 15, 16 – Fremantle Arts Centre, Fremantle WA

August 22 – Riverstage, Brisbane QLD

August 24 – Moncrief Theatre, Bundaberg QLD

August 25 – Gladstone PCYC, Gladstone QLD

August 26 – Pilbeam Theatre, Rockhampton QLD

August 27 – Mackay Entertainment Centre, Mackay QLD

August 28 – Brothers Leagues Club, Cairns QLD

August 29 – Townsville Entertainment Centre, Townsville QLD

Do you reckon this will be the best local tour of the year?

Can't wait! Apparently their European shows have been amazing.

It is good that they are touring around these places. But, it would be even better if they would come to Ipswich (QLD) like Evermore did. Because, I can't make it to Brisbane, which is sad.
