Hear The New Foo Fighters Song
Eddie Ruckus - Rockin' Blogger 6 July, 2009 - 7:44 AM
Wheels - Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters performed this new song at a private 4th of July show on the lawns of the White House at the request of Fooies fan, President Obama.
Dave Grohl has announced that the band will release a greatest hits set in the lead-up to Christmas, and they've been in the studio recording a handful of new tracks to include on it.
One of the newbies is a song called “Wheels” which Dave said is about the feeling you get when the airplane wheels touch the ground and you think, “Oh God, I'm glad that's over with!"
What do you think of the new track?

Unreal new song and can't wait until the Greatest Hits album is released.
Nice to see president Obama has such good taste in music too.
I guess being president has it's perks, very cool to see him get Foo Fighters to play on the lawns of the White House, way cool!
:D

Not so bad...but nothing special.
It's good to know the new record will be released at the end of the year.
Maybe one more tour next year... i hope.
Bye bye Alex from Belgium

Great track! Love it after first listen.
I narrowly missed out on seeing the famous gig in Seattle when Dave first met Kurt and Kris [Nirvana].
From that day, I've followed his career closely and marvelled at his consistent brilliance.
The man is a genius and as another poster said, he gets better with age.
