Michael Jackson Dead At 50 Posted by Triple M Music 26 June, 2009 - 8:22 AM

Celeb website TMZ has revealed that the pop legend had suffered a heart attack at his LA home.

They say he wasn't breathing when paramedics arrived and CPR was done on the way to hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

He'd been in training with former Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, ahead of an upcoming sold-out concert in London.

The 50 year-old had said he wanted his three kids to see him perform live.

The Prince of Pop started singing with the Jackson 5 as a five-year-old before going solo.

His 1982 album Thriller remains the highest selling album of all time.

How will he be remembered? Leave your tributes here.

As weird as he was, he'd have to be one the most iconic musicians in the world. What a sad day for music.

What a huge loss for the music industry - Michael may have been a weirdo but he's still the Prince of Pop. May his legend live on forever!

For me, I don't judge a person's music based on his or her personal life, never have and never will.

Michael Jackson was one of the best singer/songwriters and that is a fact. Some of his music is classic and that's what should be remembered.

For those of you who judge a book by it's cover you are missing out on so much! He is the same as many before him, a one of a kind, a very sad day indeed.

    I'm devastated!

The greatest entertainer the world has ever known is gone forever... It's incredibly upsetting!

Forget all the bad publicity and just remember his music and all the joy he brought to the world.

He changed the face of music and dancing forever and the world over will grieve his loss as they did Elvis and John Lennon. :-((
