Jimmy Barnes and The Living End's Chris Cheney came into the studio to talk about their new project, which celebrates 30 years of Jimmy Barnes as a solo artist.
Chris said they wanted to pick the right song because there are so many iconic songs with Jimmy.
"We've done a couple of tracks and "Lay Down Your Guns" was the first one that popped into our heads because I love the tune," Said Chris, on Triple M.
"I didn't want to do anything like "Working Class Man" because we wanted to do something we could do justice too," joked Chris.
Listen to the full audio below, and as always Barnesy's got a great music yarn at the end.

Jimmy Barnes has teamed up with some of the biggest names in music for his new 30/30 Anniversary album.
Jimmy collaborated with the likes of Bernard Fanning, Keith Urban and John Farnham to revisit some of his most popular songs.
"I wanted to do something special for the 30th anniversary," Jimmy explains.
"There was talk of a tribute album, but that idea would have taken me out of the picture. So then I thought of a better idea - I'll get all my favourite acts and sing with them!"
The first single is a blistering version of 'Lay Down Your Guns', featuring The Living End.
"We got into the studio and within four bars of playing the song I knew it was the right marriage of song and artist," Jimmy says.
"It was a rollercoaster from there - I just got on and enjoyed the ride. It was fantastic."
Jimmy's 30/30 Anniversary album is out on the 29th August through Liberation.
