Bon Jovi have continued their love affair with sport giving the National Rugby League a new theme song for the ad campaign of its upcoming NRL 2011 season.
"We wrote "This Is Our House" (which you can hear above) to be a sports anthem and it has found a home in the US on the playing fields of the New York Rangers, the New England Patriots, and the NFL," said Jon.
"Having played countless stadium shows in your country, I know for a fact that your fans know a thing or two about marking your turf and staking your claim."
Fans on our Triple M Rock News Facebook page have been saying what they think.
"Are we gonna raise the roof? Oh yeah. Are we gonna touch the sky? Hell yeah. Awsome (sic). but then again anything Bon Jovi do is!!! great choice," said Sophia.
While Kristina gave it a four word review: "AWESOME. BON JOVI ROCK:)"
Of course, Jon Bon Jovi has been a lifelong sports fan. He was the owner of the Philadelphia Soul in the Arena Football League in the US and is the No. 1 ticket holder of the Australian A-League's Melbourne Heart.
Jon got fired up about the NRL when on tour last year in Australia he met up with Russell Crowe and famously donned his mate's Rabbitoh's jersey (Russell Crowe is the owner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs) on stage during the Jov's intimate show at Sydney's Star City Casino.
The NRL have high hopes it will rock like the anthem Tina Turner wrote for the code in 1992, a duet with Jimmy Barnes called "Simply The Best".

Great beat, as to be expected from Bon Jovi, very catchy, even if for NRL :S nevertheless great song! on ipod already :)

What a boring song and an insult to Aussies using an American band to promote an Aussie sport. This song is being recycled across the globe with different sports. Couldn't we have got something new?
The song used on the Footy show last year was so much better. And it is Australian and would've been much cheaper than Bon Jovi. Geez, how much of the NRL's money went into this song?

Boring song & an insult 2 aussies so Todd says, what about Tina Turner's NRL song until now was the best of them all, although must admit loved the Hoodoo Gurus anthem 2.
And also says the NRL's money is being wasted for the song when how much money is being put into these players who don't even deserve it. Well i love it & come on Panthers due for a great season.
