Brian Johnson Goes Solo Post by: Eddie Ruckus 15 March, 2010 - 7:18 AM
It’s only a week since AC/DC ended their Australian tour and, man, life has never felt so empty and directionless, right?
Well, chin up, kids, because have we got a surprise for you – it’s Brian Johnson solo! Actually, it’s a duet. But, boy, be warned – it rocks harder than Play School!
This is Brian Johnson as we promise you have never heard him before.
Brian has lent his voice on a cover of the song “If I Had A Hammer” for a kid’s album called Love and Peace – Greatest Hits for Kids, which is out today.
In case you don’t believe us, check out the video. Please note, whoever the chick is he’s singing with is unbearable.
Meanwhile, Brian and the rest of AC/DC have spent the last week in Japan where they’ve played two gigs so far. They’ve got one more show tomorrow night before taking a month’s break ahead of more shows in the United States.
What do you think of Brian’s kids’ song? How bad are you missing AC/DC not being in the country?

I think it is great! Why not a bit of fun?
I know some hardcore fans will have a sook over it, but I think it is fantastic that AC/DC have never taken themselves too seriously:)
Good on Brian for giving it a go:)
