“OVERCOME” by Creed
Rightio, Creed fans – here it is. The comeback kids’ new album Full Circle is locked and loaded for a November 6 release.
Full Circle is Creed’s first album since 2001’s Weathered and their first new music back from a highly-publicised nasty split.
But it’s all good now according to the members. As Scott Stapp sings in “Overcome” [listen above]: “Everything we are and used to be/Is buried and gone”. Well, good for you, chaps!
While “Overcome” is the teaser single for Full Circle, we’ll get to hear the first single proper, “Rain”, at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, Creed has been on tour through the US for the past few months and the members can’t say enough about how happy they all are now.
“In order for us to write and create as truthfully and honestly as we did in the past, we needed that bond, that trust, to exist between us again,” says Stapp. “The sincerity of these songs reflects the rebuilding of the friendship.
“This is a brand-new Creed. We kind of lost our individual identities along the way.
“We’ve had a chance to establish our lives outside the band, growing as men in terms of life’s responsibilities, taking care of our wives and children. We all have a renewed sense of self-confidence and security in ourselves.”

This would have to be the lamest and wankiest band there has ever been, or ever will be, in the history of the world.
