Empire Of The Sun’s World Domination Post by: Eddie Ruckus - Rockin' Blogger 21 May, 2009 - 7:39 AM

Wacky Aussie duo Empire Of The Sun continue on their path to world domination with their recent single, “We Are The People”, starting to go ballistic in the UK.

The track, which went gold here in Australia, has this week been put on high-rotation on some of England’s biggest radio stations, including Radio 1 and BBC2.

Meanwhile, the boys paid a quick visit back home last week to film the clip to their next single, “Standing On The Shore”, on a beach in Luke Steele’s hometown of Perth.

As with all their other clips, we don’t have any idea what it means, but it involves girls in blue dresses running along the sand dunes and Luke Steele seemingly fighting a bull. We’re sure all will be revealed when the single is released on June 23.

Do you understand what Empire Of The Sun are on about?

I have no idea what they're on about, but there's something strangely compelling about them.

    I wanna hear more!

Actually there will be cutting edge contemporary dance from some blue swordfish who are in a company called "Anything Is Valid Dance Theatre" from what their website forums seem to suggest.
