Gene Simmons had 28 years to plan his wedding to Shannon Tweed, so unsurprisingly their weekend wedding was a mammoth rock extravaganza.
The Kiss front man finally made an honest woman of his former Playmate partner in front of 400 friends and family at the Beverly Hills Hotel on 1st October 2011. Cameras from the couple's reality TV show 'Gene Simmons' Family Jewels' also had an invite.
The rocker explained his nuptial decision; "it is time for me to grow up. I'm 62. I've been doing a lot of wacky stuff for an awfully long time…and there's nobody I've ever said 'I love you' to."
Daughter Sophie, aged 19, was Maid Of Honour and sang Etta James "At Last" for her parents first dance. You've got to love their sense of humour.
The guest list, which read like the ultimate recipe for rock 'n' roll excess, included Gene's Kiss band mates, and Hugh Hefner.
