Don’t listen to Axl and Slash – Duff McKagan reckons a reunion of the classic Guns N Roses line-up will happen one day.

“It could very well happen,” says the bassist. “It would have to be right and it would have to be righteous for everybody and for the fans and it would have to be like a kick ass thing or it would just kind of be sour, I think.”

Now, we don’t know if Duff had been drinking or what, but he says things aren’t as bad as some of his old band mates would like to have you think. “I mean, I love Axl,” Duff added [woah, easy there on the man love stuff, Duff]. “We’ve been through a lot of shit together and shit nobody can take away from us no matter what people try to make of a squabble.

“I certainly don’t sit here and go, ‘God, I wish that’s going to happen.’ I don’t even know what’s going to happen in four weeks from now in my life so I’m not going to be one of those guys who’s like, ‘F**k that, that’ll never happen.’”

Okay, now we just have to know what Izzy Stradlin’s thinking and this little love-in will be almost complete.

  It will be announced then on the night. Axl will have a nervy fit and pull out as per normal for the schizo prick... but he is a genius.

  This would be great if all of the original members including Steven Adler was there, but Axl Rose is such a asshole that he will not let it happen.
  

  Maybe he and his new band he calls Guns N Roses will make another album that really sucks like Chinese Demcrocay does and he will think twice about having a couple of shows with the original members including Adler.
  

  Maybe the other 4 members need to have a reunion without Axl's dumb ass. Slash and Duff and Adler and Izze are GNR not Axl.

  I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen even if they say it never will, we heard that from bands many times before.
  

  I'd like to know where Dave is getting his info, it would be the perfect time to do it.
  

  But right now I want the Gunners of today to hit the road and tour and get back to Australia as soon as possible.

  I'd love to see this happen, but sadly, don't think it will.
  

  I know Adler was the original drummer, but Sorum brought so much more to the Gunners in the Illusions, I'd prefer him to be in the GnR reunion, plus, what has happened to Adler? I haven't heard of him since GnR gave him the boot.

  And get your facts staright before shooting your mouth off about who is GNR. Chinese Democracy is one hell of an album, but you wouldn't know that because you haven't heard it.

  It would be a life time wish to come true... & I would die on the spot even just hearing that the tickets were on sale... but it's never gonna happen, fair enough that the rest of GNR members would form a concert but it would be minus Axl Rose or Slash.
