Gurus Get Weird Makeover Post by: Dave-O 9 March, 2010 - 8:46 AM

With the new Hoodoo Gurus album only days away the band have decided to get a makeover to make sure they sell as many records as possible.

That is according to a series of videos that have been leaked on the internet showing the band in the studio with a slew of managers and personal development gurus.

If you think this doesn't sound like the Gurus of old you'd be right. The series, titled Must Travel On Wheels, has been produced by the band as a piss-take on the music biz, similar to Spinal Tap and Metallica's epic Some Kind Of Monster.

There are a total of six videos in all and one will be released weekly across the internet. We'll be putting them up as soon as we get them!

The album Purity Of Essence is out on Friday, March 12 and is shaping up as a bit of a cracker!

What do you think of the videos?

Great to see the Gurus with a new record. The Gurus along with the Mentals are 80's Oz Rock Legends.

The videos are a great piss-take, although when I watched the first instalment, for a moment I thought it was fair dinkum!
