One of our favourite bands, Hunters & Collectors is reuniting for a special one-off show at the 2011 Sydney Telstra 500.

The Aussie legends, who built an awesome reputation for their live shows, will reform for a "one-off and once only concert" to play songs from their amazing back catalogue.

"We're excited," said singer Mark Seymour on Triple M's The Grill Team. "It's going to be a big show."

The last time the Hunters & Collectors played together was for the Sound Relief benefit concert in 2009.

Also on the bill are a reformed Noiseworks, James Reyne, Jebediah and John "The Voice Farnham".

The concert will go over two nights with Jebediah and Aussie hip hop artists Bliss N Eso playing Friday night and the Hunters & Collectors, Noiseworks, James Reyne, and John Farnham playhing the saturday night.

Tickets to the Sydney Telstra 500 go on sale at 9am on Friday, 26th August 2011.
