You'll be able to relive Powderfinger's greatest ever tour forever with the release of their brand new DVD, Powderfinger - Sunsets Farewell Tour

The double disc set captures the last tour of their career, performing to over 300,000 people at 34 shows in 21 different cities.

There's a full live concert that clocks in at almost two hours, plus a great documentary of the band on the road of their final tour.

Singer Bernard Fanning says it shows the band at the absolute peak of their powers.

"It's a celebration of music that we've made over the past 15 years," he said before laughing. "I mean everyone keeps saying 20 years but that's bulls**t because the songs from the first five years were a disaster."

It's been a bumpy ride for Powderfinger over the past five years, but since announcing the farewell tour Bernard says he's having the time of his life.

"This is the most fun I've had playing gigs since the early days," he said. "But that's probably because I know there's a light at the end of the tunnel."

Powderfinger are playing their final shows across Australia over the next two weeks. And it's going to be massive!

Powderfinger - Sunsets Farewell Tour will be available from December 3.
