Here's proof Bono is contributing something worthwhile to the world.
Diehard fans waiting outside Olympic Stadium in Italy as the band prepare for their world tour got a surprise when Bono appeared with pizza for everyone.
The incident happened after U2 had wrapped up rehearsals for their opening show of their European tour.
The whole band including Bono appeared holding boxes of pizza. U2 fan Elena (@xalira on Twitter) took this photo of Bono and said they all brought out pizza, and bassist Adam Clayton even ate a slice with them.
Funnily enough, U2 did a similar thing back in 1992 during the Zoo TV tour when Bono ordered approx 10,000 pizzas for the audience. In that case it was all captured by the Zoo TV cameras as they followed the delivery boys into the arena.
The band officially kick off the European leg of the 360 tour in Turin, Italy tonight. Unconfirmed reports say we can expect to see the band in Australia in December.
