U2 treated Turkish fans with an impromptu performance on the tarmac of Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul.

In this video we sourced from the Turkish news site milliyert.com.tr the band steps off the plane and greet adoring fans and media with an acoustic version of "Desire" before signing autographs.

Having just performed a spectacular show in Greece for the first time in 13 years on the weekend U2 are in Turkey for their 360 World tour playing at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium on September 6.

Meanwhile, U2 have announced second shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Tickets go on sale September 10.
