Axl Rose was captured joking about how he used to steal groupies from Slash in a new fan-filmed interview in Paraguay, South America.
According to the Guns 'n' Roses legend, Slash's well-documented alcohol blackouts were a great opportunity for him to snake Slash's girl of the night.
“It was great, because he would pass out and piss his pants and then I would get to be with the girl. I always followed Slash because I knew he would pass out, piss his pants, and I would get the girl,” Axl laughed in the video above.
It's good to see Axl joking about Slash like he was an old mate, not a warring ex-bandmate. It's a rare sight and in stark contrast to most of the media coverage since their falling out.
It makes us get nostalgic for the days when Gunners were the biggest band in the world, and taking the piss was something they did to each other (even their old touring buddies like James Hetfield of Metallica, who certainly wasn't afraid to take the piss out of Axl).
